Software engineer, developer, infrastructure nerd. I am at my best with something half-built in front of me and a reason to stay past the hour I meant to stop. I trust a terminal more than I trust most rooms. When the screen goes dark, the odds are good I am at the kettle instead, making a coffee strong enough to be taken seriously. Everything I break, learn, or build on purpose ends up filed here.

Mission Statement

This is a working log of real incidents: the outages and regressions, the slow leaks and phantom dependencies, written the way a case officer writes up an anomaly. What was observed, what was recovered, what was learned. The classified styling started as a joke and turned out to be useful. Treating a post-mortem as a file makes you finish it.
